Daisypath - Personal pictureDaisypath Anniversary tickers

Well we've been married for 4 years now. I never thought I'd get married within 2 months from meeting and going on our first date, but sure enough you can't help who your heart falls for. I'm sure glad my heart fell for him. We were married on Feb 29th, 2008 because leap year may come every 4 years, but a love like ours comes only once in a lifetime. We were just recently sealed for time and all eternity and it feels so wonderful knowing that we are now a "Forever Family". It's been such a blessing to have Chad in my life and I am grateful every day that the Lord lets me enjoy here on earth with my SOULMATE.

So THAT'S where all the socks go...

In preparation for moving to our new place, we were trying to get all of the laundry washed and packed before we moved. So we were washing all the whites and socks and had them on the bed. Well Folesome has always had a love for socks, I don't know what it is but he just likes them. He doesn't tear holes in them or anything like that, he just likes to be by them. He doesn't like for people to pet him with their hands, but he loves it when they rub him with their feet when they have socks on. Anyway, we were folding socks and he jumped into the pile of socks and nuzzled his way into the middle of them. When I turned around and called for him, he popped up and had a sock on the top of his head like he was caught red handed. I also caught him trying to chew on a fabric softener sheet because he didn't think I was looking. It was just a cute moment. I love my little family.

Amazing Co-workers

I just want to shout out to my amazing friends at work. I don't have pictures of all of them but I am SO very grateful for all of them. You guys are such great examples to me and always have a way of bringing me up when I am having a bad day. Thank you for everything you do for me. You are amazing people and I am so blessed to be able to work with you. YOU ROCK!

Sew much Fun

I went to visit my Aunts and Grandma the other day and I was able to help them make baby blankets. We had a great time tying the quilts and visiting with each other. Darla and I tied the quilts and Grandma and my mom worked on the edges of the quilts. When we were done we had a nice surprise waiting downstairs. Aunt Mashell made us some delicious chocolate chip cookies. It was a wonderful day.

New Job

Chad was going to take a job in North Dakota and did end up going out there for almost 2 weeks. But things didn't work out because the job was not a job where you can just guess what you are doing and they had really poor training. So with it being such a risky job and such crapy training we decided as a family that this would not be the best move for us right now. I will also have to have surgery on my shoulder again and it will be nice to have him around and close to home when this happens. So he came home and was able to get home in time for our 2nd anniversary. It was an awesome day and we had a really good time just hanging out. Chad was able to get a job really fast when he got back. It is just something part time while he is looking for something else, but he works at Sam's Club and is one of those guys who hands out the yummy samples as you are shopping. My mom, dad and I were able to sneak a surprise visit on his first day. Don't you love his little kid apron? The man behind him is wearing the regular length apron. It made me laugh. It was fun. I'm so proud of you Chad for all the risks you take and the hard work you do to provide for me.

Surprise Visit

This past weekend we had a wonderful surprise party for my dad's 60th birhday. It was so hard to keep it a secret for months but somehow we all managed to do it. Robyn and Chris flew in from California and it was a wonderful surprise. (Pictures to come) We were able to go to breakfast the day they left and it was very nice to see them and be able to visit. I can't wait for the next visit.

Temple Trip

Chad and my mom have never been to the Temple to do baptisms for the dead. So we decided to go on a family Temple trip and do baptisms. It was such a neat experience to share this day with them. My brother Justin went with me, my mom and Chad. Justin and Chad were actually able to baptize and confirm my mother and myself. It was so neat to be able to go and share this special time with everyone. I took lots of pictures with my heart that I will never forget. I can't wait until we go back.
