Daisypath - Personal pictureDaisypath Anniversary tickers

Well we've been married for 4 years now. I never thought I'd get married within 2 months from meeting and going on our first date, but sure enough you can't help who your heart falls for. I'm sure glad my heart fell for him. We were married on Feb 29th, 2008 because leap year may come every 4 years, but a love like ours comes only once in a lifetime. We were just recently sealed for time and all eternity and it feels so wonderful knowing that we are now a "Forever Family". It's been such a blessing to have Chad in my life and I am grateful every day that the Lord lets me enjoy here on earth with my SOULMATE.

Sad puppy

We had to come to my mom and dad's house today to do laundry because our dryer kicked the bucket yesterday. So they are on vacation in California and so they left their dog (Harley) with my aunts while they are gone. Well every time Folesome comes here he LOVES to play with Harley and today Harley has not been here at all. So Folesome has just been lying around and crying (yes my dog cries actual tears when he is sad) because his friend isn't here to play with. It was sad but so funny at the same time.

I love to see the Temple

Our new goal as a family is to try and attend the Temple at least once a month, but hopefully more than that. Tonight we were able to go to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple with my brother Justin and his beautiful wife Yvette.
It was so amazing as it usually is. The weather was so perfect and it was what I really needed. We hope to be able to take a Temple trip later this year and visit all of the Temple's in Utah.
We had great company too, we love spending time with Yvette and Justin, we all get along and always end up having such a great time.
We will hopefully have more trips like this in the future. I'm so grateful that I have a loving and wonderful husband who stay's worthy and holds the priesthood so that he can take me to the House of The Lord and we can do work for those who are no longer on this earth. What a blessing he is to me.

SUSHI!!!

In case you didn't know this about me I LOVE SUSHI! I got off work a little before Chad did the other day so I drove to his work and was waiting outside to surprise him when he got off. There is a sushi place just down the street from his work so we stopped by and had some on our way home. It was absolutely delicious like always. It looked and tasted so yummy that I just had to take pictures and share.

Clipping Coupons

So I came home tonight only to find that my little helper (Folesome) has decided to help me clip coupons. It was so funny that I couldn't be mad. I grabbed my camera and took pictures. He was even such a good boy that he posed by his masterpiece for me. It was great.

Funniest thing ever

So Chad and I were driving home yesterday and we stopped at a stop sign just a few blocks from our house when I turned and saw this. So I just had to hurry and grab my camera.

There is this dog in my neighborhood who takes his little friend for a walk every day. The previous tenants said something about it but I never believed them. Well now I have seen it with my own eyes. It was so funny and yet cute at the same time, I just had to take a picture.

Princess Stephie

We went to Chad's grandma's house today to see his mom off to the airport and to have lunch with her and the family before she headed back to Boise.
While we were there Madi (Chad's cousin) decided to give Stephanie (Chad's sister) a "princess make-over".
It was so cute to watch her get out all her make-up and proceed to make Stephanie a princess. She carefully picked our her colors and then was very delicate as she applied the make-up to Steph's face.
Then when she was finished she did her own make-up in front of the mirror. It was cute and very entertaining.

Happily Ever After

(It was raining so hard when the came out of the Temple)

Here are a few pictures of the wonderful day. My camera batteries died half way through the day so I had to use somebody else's camera. Some of the pictures are grainy but that's what I get for not making sure I had enough batteries for my camera. I'm still waiting on a few more pictures that I took on my dad's camera. I'll post them as soon as I get them.

Bachelor/Bachelorette parties

(the cake my dad made)

On the night before the wedding we threw Justing and Yvette a bachelorette and bachelor party. We (the girls) were so hungry that we crashed the guys party because they had pizza and sloppy joe's and all kinds of yummy food. They even had a "yellow polka dot bikini" cake that my dad made for the party.

After we ate, we went to Yvette's house and had cupcakes and stayed up really late talking and laughing and sharing stories and advise. It's the most fun I've had in such a long time. We even let Jaedan crash our party. He was the entertainment with his crawling up and down the stairs. I'm so excited for Yvette to be a part of the family. She is amazing and we get a lot really well. Anyway, we had a blast and laughed so hard we cried... Ok I cried. But none the less it was a blast. I can't wait until the next time we all get together.

Going blonde

So I decided to finally try something new with my hair. I'm going to attempt to go completely blonde. I've always wondered what I'd look like and so hey... why not. So I have started the first gradual step in that direction. I had my hair done for my brothers wedding last week and decided I'd start going blonde. So I'll hopefully make it to the final stage and be completely blonde (I usually give up and dye my hair dark again). You'll have to let me know what you like best, blonde or brunette.

Ouch!!!

Do you ever have a knife in your hand trying to cut/scrape something and you think to yourself "I shouldn't be doing it this way", when out of the blue you stab/cut yourself? Yep it happened to me. I was trying to clean off the first batch of fruit leather that had dried crispy to the trays of the food dehydrator when I stabbed myself in the thumb. It bled what seemed like forever and I had to have Dr. Chad help me get it patched up. He did a great job and I didn't even need stitches. It hurts and my thumb is bruised but all is well. I learned my lesson, at least until next time.

(I have such a hot Dr.)

(This is the only way we could get it to stop bleeding)

Fruit Leather

So I've borrowed a food dehydrator from my mom and I've gone crazy making all different kinds of fruit leather. My first batch didn't turn out so well because I mistook directions from my mom. She said to leave them drying all night and don't spread it too thick or it will take forever. So of course I spread it really thin and let it dry all night long. In the morning I had very colorful crispy parchment paper. There was basically no fruit left on them, just color.

With each batch it gets better and better. I love mixing all different kinds of flavors. I absolutely love fruit and pretty much anything that has to do with fruit so this will be a good summer treat. Maybe I'll even get Chad to eat his fruit this way. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
