Daisypath - Personal pictureDaisypath Anniversary tickers

Well we've been married for 4 years now. I never thought I'd get married within 2 months from meeting and going on our first date, but sure enough you can't help who your heart falls for. I'm sure glad my heart fell for him. We were married on Feb 29th, 2008 because leap year may come every 4 years, but a love like ours comes only once in a lifetime. We were just recently sealed for time and all eternity and it feels so wonderful knowing that we are now a "Forever Family". It's been such a blessing to have Chad in my life and I am grateful every day that the Lord lets me enjoy here on earth with my SOULMATE.

Winter snow and Wedding showers

It snowed today... Yeah on the 22nd of May it snowed. I'm really getting tired of Mother natures indecisive moods. It seems like for the last few weeks it's been 70 degrees one day then snowing the next. It's really been rather crazy.

Today was the family wedding shower for my soon to be sister-in-law Yvette. It was so fun to visit with you family and play games.

We played a game where she described her wedding dress and then we were given a piece of paper and pencil and we had to put the paper on top of our heads and draw the dress she had described. My drawing was picked as the closest to her dress.
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait, only 3 more weeks until she is a member of our family.

Carrie and Matt

On Saturday I was able to go take pictures of my co-worker Carrie and her boyfriend Matt. They have been together for six wonderful months. She asked me if I would mind taking some pictures of them for the anniversary and I was THRILLED to do so. I love any opportunity to take pictures of people. It's like the let me into their lives for a short period of time and in turn I let them see the beautiful things I see on a daily basis that most people don't ever notice. I love to share my passion and am happy to get all the experience I can. So, if any of you are looking to have some pictures taken and you like what you see, drop me a line. I love doing this, it IS my passion.

Ancestry.com

I am know as a document preservation specialist. I work at Ancestry.com and I LOVE what I do. A few weeks ago I was able to go to the National Genealogy Society Convention.

My work had a few booths there and I was able to work in the scanning booth. I helped people scan their photos and documents and put all of the information on a flash drive for them to take home.

This is my friend Vikki. She is such a hoot and I absolutely enjoy working with her.

This is what I do for work and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I get to see so many amazing things that most people don't get to. I've scanned all kinds of records and documents that you wouldn't believe.

In these pictures I was helping a man scan his families Temple records from the late 1800's. This was by far the coolest thing I got to scan at this convention. I can't wait til next year when I will be able to do this again. This was such an awesome experience.

Black & Blue-ish

So today I woke up and I could feel it right away. I knew my left eye was swollen a little. When I went into the bathroom, I looked and yes it was a little swollen. Well it also looked a little dark underneath. it So I washed my face with cold water thinking it might just be a little mascara from the night before. NOPE... I had a full on shiner. As the day went on and I was getting ready for work it got darker and darker. Then it just went away by itself a few hours later you couldn't even tell. I just thought was so weird that I woke up with a black eye and I have no idea where it came from. Then just as fast as it came on, it was gone. Oh well, I'm just glad it chose not to stick around. It wasn't so pretty. I was able to get a picture of it while it was big and bruised.
