Soulmates

Well we've been married for 4 years now. I never thought I'd get married within 2 months from meeting and going on our first date, but sure enough you can't help who your heart falls for. I'm sure glad my heart fell for him. We were married on Feb 29th, 2008 because leap year may come every 4 years, but a love like ours comes only once in a lifetime. We were just recently sealed for time and all eternity and it feels so wonderful knowing that we are now a "Forever Family". It's been such a blessing to have Chad in my life and I am grateful every day that the Lord lets me enjoy here on earth with my SOULMATE.

Blessed

Can't help but think today how unbelievably blessed I am. I have a loving husband who will go to any length to care and provide for me. I have wonderful family members who's lives are taking them in exciting new directions. I have a relationship with my father in heaven and I feel his love surround me at times when I need it the most. I am so grateful for Chad and all of his hard work that he puts forth. He just got a job offer in North Dakota and will be leaving to fly out there on Sunday (Valentines) morning. I am ok with this because I don't feel that we need a holiday to celebrate our love. We do special things with each other all the time and it's romantic and wonderful always, so I don't really need a day assigned for him to show his love. He is amazing all of the time. Anyway, Chad will be leaving on Sunday to start work and I will stay here in Utah and continue to work until we have enough money to move all of our stuff out there which will be hopefully in mid March. I am going to miss him like crazy while he is gone, we have only ever been apart from each other 1 whole day since our first date. This will be hard but I know that our love is strong and that we will make it. I love you Chad XOXO

Pizza Perfect

So today my brother Jarin and his girlfriend Martha came up to the house with her daughter Breezy. We made homemade pizza's and had a really good time. Breezy and Chad both made heart shaped pizza's and it was cute. Chad and I shared the one that he made and it was a bbq chicken pizza. It was yummy.

After we ate pizza Jarin and Martha gave my mom a little gift. It was a little charm to put on her bracelet and it was a baby buggie. Thats right, they are expecting a baby. How exciting is that. This will be Martha's 3rd child and Jarin's 1st. I'm so happy for Jarin, I know he has wanted a family of his own for so long. CONGRATS to the new parents. I can't wait to find out if it is a girl or boy. I love being an aunt and can't wait for another little one in the family. What a blessing.

Santa's Workshop

With every spare minute I have, I've been working in my workshop on Christmas gifts. I love spending time working on my crafts and creations . Between work, and school it's a wonder I have found any time at all to get these things done. Lately I've been working on mostly blankets and here are a few that I have finished so far.

SNOW DAY!!!

Chad woke up at 6:30 to shovel the driveway, then he went out again at 10:30 for round 2. It was definitely an IN-Day. I didn't go to school or work because I was afraid my little car wouldn't make it back up the hill. Folesome LOVED the snow, I opened the door and he bolted for the snow. He jumped in and disappeared. He wouldn't come inside, but when he finally did he was one big frozen snowball. I had to put him in the tub and rinse him off with warm water to get the snow out of his fur. Now we are inside with warm soup and hot cocoa. We are bundled in our warm snugly cloths and trying to get warm. BRRRRRR!

Eternal Family

On October 10th Chad and I were sealed to each other in the Jordan River Temple. It was such an amazing experience and we were so blessed to have so many of our family members with us. It was truly a blessing that was worth all the work it took to get there. I feel so blessed that I was able to marry a man who has the same values as I do and was able to take me to the Temple. When Chad asked me to marry him, he said "LynDee, will you be my Eternal Wife?". After almost 2 years of marriage, I FINALLY feel like I am able to fulfill my end of the proposal. I feel like a princess who married her prince charming in the most beautiful castle. Thank you everyone that was able to share that special day with us. I will never forget it. It meant so much to me to be able to have you all there.

Ok, so I finally got some help in figuring out how to get my blog up and going. With a little help from the wonderful Mrs. Hazel Coppola I was able to get this put together. So here is to hoping I can keep things up and keep everyone informed on what is going on with the Lloyd family this year.

Little Things I'm grateful for everyday

2/6/2011: Today I am grateful for PEOPLE WHO LOVE ME for who I am. People who enjoying spending time with me just because. People who put me first and make me feel important. Thanks Chad and Josh for turning a bad day around.

9/13/2010: Today I am grateful for MONSTER ENERGY DRINKS. I know I know, they are bad for me and caused me to have heart problems. But I just started back at work and I am not use to being awake so early and I have been at risk of dozing off while driving and while I'm at work. So it has saved my life these last few days.

9/11/2010: Today I am grateful for my FREEDOM and for THOSE WHO DIED 9 YEARS AGO TODAY. I remember that day so clearly in my mind and I'm am so grateful and also sad for those who died that day. Thank you for the sacrifice you made so that I may live.

9/2/2010: Today I'm grateful for NONI. She is one of my dearest friends and always knows what I need. She has been such a blessing in my life and we have so many amazing stories together. Usually they all end in us rolling on the floor laughing so hard that we are in risk of peeing our pants. Love you Loni!

9/1/2010: It's been a while but I'm not any less grateful. Today I'm grateful for MY HANDY HUSBAND. He built me a wonderful desk because I'm headed back to school.

6/20/2010: Today I am grateful for MY PARENT'S WASHER AND DRYER. Yesterday while trying to catch up on all of our laundry from the last week, our dryer went out. It will no longer heat up the clothes and dry them. So while my parents are out of town we came to their house to use their dryer.

6/19/2010: Today I am grateful for AIR CONDITIONING. We were working out in our yard and garage today trying to get our bikes fixed and the yard looking decent and boy was it hot. I had to come inside several times just to get cooled off.

6/11/2010: Today I am grateful for SISTERS. Tonight we had a bachelorette party for my new sister in law Yvette and it was so nice to just be with the women of the family and bond as sisters (and mom) it was great and I'm so blessed to have such wonderful women in my family.

6/3/2010: Today I am grateful for CURTAINS. The sun shines so bright through our bedroom window starting at 5:30am. It gets so hot and bright in the room even with the blinds closed. So I got some curtains from my mom's house and it has made things 100% better. I am actually able to sleep past 5:30am now. Thanks mom for the curtains.

5/18/2010: Today I am grateful for the RAIN. I know I use this a lot as something I am grateful for but I really am. I LOVE the rain and can not get enough of it. Especially when it's 80 degrees outside like it was today and it was just pouring. I wish I lived somewhere where it rained like this ALL THE TIME.

5/10/2010: Today I am grateful for cough medicine. I've been fighting a nasty could all weekend and it still has the best of me. I am so grateful for the cold medicine that masks the unpleasant symptoms. I'm also grateful for my wonderful husband who runs to the store in the middle of the night to get me more medicine when I run out. He is amazing.

4/21/2010: Today I am grateful for the RAIN, although I was indoors most of the day, I would love to have been out dancing in the rain. I love everything about the rain. It is truly my favorite weather. I wish it would rain every day.

3/23/2010: It has been a little bit, but I am not less grateful. Today I am grateful for WONDERFUL FRIENDS. I have great friends at work that are such a great example for me.

3/12/2010: Today I am grateful for WARM BLANKETS. My feet and hands were so cold and it felt so nice to cuddle up in a big fuzzy blanket and get warm. Folesome helped to keep my feet warm, seeing as how he climbed under the blanket and fell asleep on my toes.

3/11/2010: Today I am grateful for my brother JUSTIN, it's his birthday today and I'm so grateful he was born. My life has been blessed with many experiences both funny and great learning experiences because of him. Love you Justin!

3/10/2010: I'm grateful for CHAD today, he woke me up early today so that he could make me breakfast in bed. He is such a sweetheart and working so hard to show me that he can provide for me. What a blessing he is. I am grateful for Chad and breakfast in bed today. It was Yummy.

3/9/2010: I am grateful for RAIN today. Even though it snowed at my house and it was cold, while I was down in town I got to enjoy the rain and all of it's beauty. Rain is my absolute favorite weather and I can't get enough of it. I wish it would rain every day.

3/6/2010: I am grateful for FAMILY today. We had such a wonderful surprise birthday party for my dad's 60th Birthday party today and had such a wonderful turn out. It was nice to have most of my family close by. Brandon wasn't able to be there and Qwinette was also not able to be there, But it was so nice to see everyone who was able to make it.

3/5/2010: I am grateful for TEMPLES today. It was so great to go to the Temple and do baptisms with my family members. What a wonderful first time experience for all of us.

3/3/2010: I am grateful for the PRIESTHOOD today. My brother in law has been very ill in the hospital and my dad and husband were able to go give him a blessing today. I am so grateful for the priesthood and all the blessings it brings to my life.
